HABITATION is a time where we make room for HIM, in passionate worship, honest prayer, humble waiting and attentive listening. It’s a time where we position ourselves for renewal. Life. It seems to move at a break-neck pace. Days are filled with noise, screens, and appointments. Sometimes worry and fear are constant companions. The chaos can leave you looking for a place to be still, but that resting spot always seems to be an elusive destination. Jesus offers a different kind of life. He offers peace. He is peace. Join us for this seven-week group study on The Gospel of John. The introduction video will be show at our Ladies Gathering on Saturday, May 4 so plan on joining us then. A baby dedication is a ceremony where parents make a commitment to raise their children to hear, believe, and obey God. Our church family is witness to this and commits to help and encourage these parents to raise their children in the Lord.

This team consists of a group of volunteers who commit to bringing encouragement and care to those who have been set aside by illness, injury or life’s trials. They pray for and with those in need and show them love and compassion.

HIGHLIGHTS
The health of your soul is dependent on your spiritual diet. One of the necessary components of that diet is to have a steady intake of the Word. Reflections can assist in that process. We all have good intentions but as the days of the year go by we fall off our reading resolution pattern. We are asking that you would consider being a part of a group of two to three that will hold each other accountable in your commitment to read. By checking in regularly with each other during the week for, just 5-10 minutes a day allows us to stay on track. The intent of the groups is not to test our knowledges but to encourage each other around the simple question, what part or parts of your reading was significant to you? Checking in with each other to see how you are doing is all that is required and it promotes health.

What a joy it is to introduce you to our church! You’ll discover that our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with God. We are an evangelistic, Spirit-empowered church in Nassau County, Long Island.
At LIVING WORD, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. What people usually notice first about us is the life-giving nature of our ministry. Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.
But it won’t take you long to discover that we’re more than just a Sunday church. We desire that no one ever feels like just a face in the crowd. Because of that, we offer several small groups, which we call Life Groups throughout the year. If you ’d like to develop authentic and enduring relationships with others, you’ll be glad to know there are several opportunities to join a Life Group.
