Prayer is the way we relate to God...
... but sometimes but sometimes it’s a struggle. Throughout God’s Word, we encounter many voices who teach us how to pray. You’ll learn that God welcomes your praise and lament, your thanksgiving and intercession. You’ll see examples of how to pray when you’re alone and when you’re gathered with others. Above all, you’ll notice there’s no one right way to pray. As you draw near to God through prayer, you’ll find your faith strengthened and your heart united to Christ.

A baby dedication is a ceremony where parents make a commitment to raise their children to hear, believe, and obey God. Our church family is witness to this and commits to help and encourage these parents to raise their children in the Lord.

Ministry to children is one of the highest priorities at LIVING WORD. Our goal is to capture the hearts of children and point them toward Jesus. We know that love over time is what matters most. Our time with your children is precious and important and we make the most of it while they’re under our roof. KidsZone offers a place where children from age two through fifth grade can discover and develop a passion for God.

In God‘s instruction to Moses regarding the building of the tabernacle, Moses was told to build according to pattern and God would meet him there. If we desire to see the glory of God upon the church today, what is the Biblical pattern we need to follow to see that result?

The health of your soul is dependent on your spiritual diet. One of the necessary components of that diet is to have a steady intake of the Word of God. Reflection Small Groups can assist in that process. These groups meet via Zoom once a week for about 15 minutes to encourage each other and discuss how God is speaking to them through the Bible reading for that week. It's never too late to join a group or start one of your own.

What a joy it is to introduce you to our church! You’ll discover that our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with God. We are an evangelistic, Spirit-empowered church in Nassau County, Long Island.
At LIVING WORD, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. What people usually notice first about us is the life-giving nature of our ministry. Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.
But it won’t take you long to discover that we’re more than just a Sunday church. We desire that no one ever feels like just a face in the crowd. Because of that, we offer several small groups, which we call Life Groups throughout the year. If you ’d like to develop authentic and enduring relationships with others, you’ll be glad to know there are several opportunities to join a Life Group.
