MaryAnne Sadaphal

Children's Director

MaryAnne loves being around and ministering to children and has done so for the past 36 years. She believes that you are never too young to experience the love of God. Her desire is for every child to reach their highest potential in the giftings Father God has instilled in them. She’s passionate about having children exposed to the God’s Love and Word, and works to creatively communicate biblical truths to very child through the Children’s Ministry staff and programs. By laying that foundation, each child is resourced to achieve the destiny the Father has for their lives.

Another priority of Maryanne’s life is family. One of her greatest joys is to know that her daughters Danielle and Stephanie love and serve the Lord. That joy was compounded in 2014, as Danielle and Jason were married. Both now serve as the church’s worship leaders.
MaryAnne has a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education and a Master of Science in Special Education, and is a first grade teacher. MaryAnne and Joel have been happily married for 33 years.

Hiram Matos

Elder

Hiram Matos has been attending LIVING WORD since the late 90s. Welcomed as a first time visitor to a church he didn’t know. He was surprised at how quickly it became home. He began serving initially as an usher and helping out in whatever was necessary.
Today Hiram is an elder of the church and leads the men’s ministry. The motto he keeps in mind for the men is to “see men stand strong in their faith because they have first learned to kneel”.
