Our Women’s Life groups start next week and we are so excited! Join us on our journey as we slow down our pace and learn to savor the peace of Jesus. We will be using “The Gospel of John” book by Melissa Spoelstra for this 7 session study. The book is required for group discussions and gives you access to the videos. When it comes to the Holy Spirit, several expression are used: "the baptism OF the Holy Spirit," “baptism IN the Holy Spirit" or "the baptism WITH the Holy Spirit." Is there a difference or is it just playing with prepositions? A correct foundation on the person and function of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life is significant, for what we believe determines who we are. Let us look at what the Scripture has to say on baptism.

A baby dedication is a ceremony where parents make a commitment to raise their children to hear, believe, and obey God. Our church family is witness to this and commits to help and encourage these parents to raise their children in the Lord.

The health of your soul is dependent on your spiritual diet. One of the necessary components of that diet is to have a steady intake of the Word. Reflections can assist in that process. We all have good intentions but as the days of the year go by we fall off our reading resolution pattern. We are asking that you would consider being a part of a group of two to three that will hold each other accountable in your commitment to read. By checking in regularly with each other during the week for, just 5-10 minutes a day allows us to stay on track. The intent of the groups is not to test our knowledges but to encourage each other around the simple question, what part or parts of your reading was significant to you? Checking in with each other to see how you are doing is all that is required and it promotes health.

God is looking for people who have a passion for righteousness and He will work in partnership with those towards redemption of our land. The power is His; the privilege is ours to pray and invite the entry of His kingdom. It’s time to seek the Lord! Will you be one of those that answers the call? Join us Tuesday at 7:30 pm Zoom Only as we corporately gather together to lift our voices and cry out to God for our families, our nation and whatever needs are on your heart.

This team consists of a group of volunteers who commit to bringing encouragement and care to those who have been set aside by illness, injury or life’s trials. They pray for and with those in need and show them love and compassion.

What a joy it is to introduce you to our church! You’ll discover that our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with God. We are an evangelistic, Spirit-empowered church in Nassau County, Long Island.
At LIVING WORD, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. What people usually notice first about us is the life-giving nature of our ministry. Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.
But it won’t take you long to discover that we’re more than just a Sunday church. We desire that no one ever feels like just a face in the crowd. Because of that, we offer several small groups, which we call Life Groups throughout the year. If you ’d like to develop authentic and enduring relationships with others, you’ll be glad to know there are several opportunities to join a Life Group.
